" We believe in being honest, true, chaste, benevolent, virtuous, and in doing good to all men; indeed, we may say that we follow the admonition of Paul—We believe all things, we hope all things, we have endured many things, and hope to be able to endure all things. If there is anything virtuous, lovely, or of good report or praiseworthy, we seek after these things. "

sweet veggie dip (from "A Thyme to Entertain" -JLA Cookbook)
serve with tortilla scooper chips

1 can black eyed peas (drained)
1 can shoe peg corn (drained)
1 large green pepper (chopped)
1 medium onion (chopped)
1 jar chopped pimentos (drained)

mix above ingredients and set aside.

marinade-

3/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup cider vinegar
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 Tbs teriyaki sauce

mix marinade ingredients together and then add to above ingredients, blending well. refrigerate for several hours and serve w/ tortilla chips. drain excess marinade off before serving.
