" We believe in being honest, true, chaste,benevolent, virtuous, and in doing good to all men; indeed, we may say that we follow the admonition of Paul—We believe all things, we hope all things, we have endured many things, and hope to be able to endure all things. If there is anything virtuous, lovely, or of good report or praiseworthy, we seek after these things. "

quick meal/ beautiful meal

{Tuna Salad}
I have been thinking alot recently about the connection between our body & spirit.
"As members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, we possess sacred knowledge from revealed truth about the relationship between the body and the spirit. Doctrine and Covenants 88:15 states, “The spirit and the body are the soul of man.”
If our body & spirit together make up our SOUL
then our task isn't limited to simply preparing ourselves for eternity spiritually.....
......and how does our physical body effect our ability to prepare our spirit
....i truly believe the way in which we present ourselves effects our behavior
if this is true
then i believe the way in which we present the food that we eat can effect our relationship with that food
in short
if you present your food as a delightful meal to be consumed so as to uplift your body, feed your mind, and lighten your weariness
..then it stands to reason that your relationship with food will be appropriate
then as the word of wisdom assures
"And all saints who remember to keep and do these sayings, walking in obedience to the commandments, shall
receive health in their navel and marrow to their bones;

And shall find wisdom and great treasures of knowledge, even hidden treasures;

And shall arun and not be bweary, and shall walk and not faint."
just something to chew on

Looks great. My hubby likes the white rice too. Sometimes I hide a little brown in with the white.
